I totally agree with you comistral. Radiation at the head area effects may be far more dangerous that eye strain... But we'll see probably after 15 years the long terms efects...Originally Posted by comistral

This is an important issue to discuss no doubt. I've thought about this myself a few times but the only real health risk I'm aware of at the moment is possible damage to the eyes. It's been said that Google Glass could strain your eyes and subsequently cause head aches. Google has also advised people who have undergone eye surgery in the past to avoid using the device, not to mention a for those under the age of 13 from using it for fears that it could negatively affect the eye's development. Regardless, a lot of study is being done on the health aspect of using glass and surely, Google will be transparent about it before they release glass to the general public.
This might shed more light on the issue.

I can't say I agree with you there. I work with some techy douches who wear Bluetooth headpieces all day at work, and I've seen strangers in the mall for example walking around with them, but not using them for calls and such. Maybe people should be more aware of the potential damaged of those habits.Originally Posted by comistral
Headaches could be bearable but that doesn't mean they aren't serious. Its a known fact that radiation can cause cancer, and head-aches are a way for the body to inform you that something is wrong.
I honestly don't see glass as a health threat. The worst case could be that some people may get headaches.
Maybe headaches maybe brain tumors, maybe impaired vision. Only time will tell sidd, or a good peer reviewd study...

caparica does have a valid point actually, people respond differently to flashing lights and sounds, video games for example have been known to induce seizures in small percentage of the population, so health issues are a real concern.Originally Posted by Nivlac
Well in so much as there might be damage to our eyes, and the dangers of running into obstruction, or increased chances of accidents occuring, I don't think there will be much danger.
