I love the concept of wearable computers. I think there is a huge market for it so the sharper company will have the bigger slice of the pie. Quality and price will have a huge weight on the size of the slice of the pie they can get.

I think that once Google Glass is launched to the public, rivalries will soon hit the market too, just like with Apple iPads!

I sure hope so. This kind really makes sense for me. I already have to wear glasses, so it's not a big deal to tack on a little extra for a whole lot of added functionality. Hopefully it'll go a long way towards reducing the bulk of smartphones, while doing a whole lot more. How awesome would it be if you could use it while backpacking to see where the trail is even if it's buried under meters of snow?

I think wearable technology would cause a lot of other problems in our society. In my neighborhood robberies would go up sky high. I think people should keep there technology at home or at the office but walking around idk about that. People are already getting there cellphones snatched.

I think wearable technology is really over hyped to be honest. Sure, it would be cool to have but with having a smartphone, laptop, desktop, tablet, and gaming consoles. There would be a serious question as to why you should negate those and get something like this.

I agree completely. Years ago I realized that Google was taking a big step with glass. There's a huge interest in wearable technology today and I think the only obstacle is has in reaching the mainstream is to properly integrate the benefits wearable technology into the daily lives of its users.

There may be a interest in this type of technology but there is zero chance it will be widespread. There is really no need for it and there is even health concerns being introduced. I barely try to use my cell phone because of the effects it can have on my body.

I think there is potential for sure. Lots of things will come in to play though like price point and how customizable Glass will be.

I actually just heard of and saw the Google Glass a couple of days ago. I think it is an awesome idea and can't wait til we can give it a try! As long as it is very user friendly, I think that it will be extremely popular. It can really benefit people with disabilities, for sure, so I hope that the powers that be at Google can keep that in the back of their minds when they are pricing/releasing it. Either way, it will be popular, no doubt, among the younger generation and with those that live for the next best thing in technology.
