Thread: When will Google glass be released ?

I really want to get my hands on Google Glass, but I can't find when it's going to be released. Any news ?

In my opinion Google Glass will be released in Q1 2014, or even by the end of this year, though nothing is certain, because Google is still working on improving it and they need a lot of feedback from the current users.

I would expect to see more Explorer units being made for use in other countries before the consumer release, but that's just my theory. Hopefully you should see units in January of next year if not around Christmas this year. I think if you require prescription glasses you should be able to buy them with Glass from the manufacturer eg. Ray Ban Wayfarers with a Glass unit attached.

I suppose it would take at least another 6-8 months for the release. As some of you have pointed out, Google would be modifying and incorporating certain features based on the feedback given by the initial users

Good to know that it will be released next year. I hope to get one.

It's reported to be released next year, which if you think about it, is just a couple months away. I'm excited to buy Google Glass. I can't wait to see how it performs and the many functions it has.

I am looking forward for them but as a potential client I'd rather wait a few more months for it so the developers can make it better and I buy a more stable, more finalized product than something that will cause me any sort of trouble. That's just my two cents. My expectation is Q4 2014.
