MPAA & ICE Confirm They Interrogated A Guy For Wearing Google Glass During A Movie

    http://www.techdirt.com/articles/201...ng-movie.shtml
Just about every theatre has a very prominent pre-show announcement to turn off/stow cell phones (and other electronic devices!) for the feature. But the thing is this person had the prescription version. They were his actual glasses. This is important because it brings up the debate on whether, once these start getting mainstream, people who get prescription glasses built into their glass are going to have to shell out for another pair of glasses and keep both pairs on them at all times.

I don't suppose the recorded version from the glasses will have reproduction quality, but privacy and copyright issues are one of the main issues here I believe.

I didn't know there was already a prescription version! Yeah, this is just going to be a continuing problem. There are always going to be settings in which wearing Glass raises issues of privacy... so I think it make sense for people to have an extra set of glasses. I already have regular glasses and prescription sunglasses, and my mom has several pairs for seeing at different distances. It's not a new thing to have to carry around an extra pair.

A prescription version? how would that work, you get fitted for the lens at your optimologist and google R&D puts them in? I'm not very sure how that would work.

I think the store where you buy the lenses will put them in your Glass, nothing too much I suppose.
