GoPro's are nearly indestructible though. I know a girl who accidentally dropped hers in a lake and found it six months later and it still worked. Glass definitely doesn't have that level of durability needed for extreme sports and usually in extreme sports you might be wearing safety goggles (snowboarding, skiing), or sunglasses depending on weather conditions, I don't think glass--at least for now--can take over the market that GoPro's have covered.

How about using Google Glass to make money from surfing ads if you download an app? I mean what company wouldn't want to make sure you see their ads on that device, especially if it goes extremely popular.
I do really like your idea, jackson. Live streaming your life would be an interesting concept and would allow people to put their creativity to the test and present their life in their own unique, unscripted, spontaneous perspective without ever having to hold a camera.

well if we are really thinking about a really long-term usage, we would look at how this can aid the military operations. I think this would improve effectiveness and limit bloodshed.

I would use it while playing tennis for example, I think it would be great. I just hope they have some glass that can stay still in my head while I am running around and sweating.

If Glass could be used as a peripheral for video games that would be pretty awesome, like being a HUD or something.

Cooking app would be neat. Show you how to cut vegetables, and meat with a built in timer to tell you when the food will be finished.
