Thread: It seems like Google Glass won't be $299 after all

Yes , those reports that surfaced all over the web yesterday I think may be right as they state Glass will not cost $299. But this is virtually the only thing we know for sure so far, it will not cost $299 and it will not be sold by Best Buy. Maybe not $299 means $298 or $300 did you think about that?

I don't usually believe all these rumors. I prefer to wait until when its officially released to find out. Nothing is sure until then

Honestly I thought it would cost more then $400 dollars, so if it were in the 200-300 range that's much more obtainable for many people!

There is a lot of talk going on. I am very excited for Glass, and 300 dollars seemed like a nice price point. I think that anything up to 400 would be fair though. Anything higher than that and I think Google is at risk of losing customers.

I was under the assumption is was going to cost as much as a top of the line android, so roughly about 600.

I don't think Google would be charging any thing more than 325$ for its Glass, as Google is known to develop cheap, affordable and quality devices by collaborating with other multinational companies such as LG, Motorola, Asus and Samsung. Some of its cheap devices that are already in the market are Nexus 7 tablet for just 200$ (contract free) and LG Nexus 4 smart phone for around 250$ in my country(contract free). Lets hope that Google will price Glass at a low rate.

I would like to know the real price of the Google Glasses I have seen so many prices I have heard $300,$350, $1000 whats the real price?

Just a question, why are they being so secretive at this point about where it is being sold and how much it will cost? Don't they have a general idea of whether it will cost around 200 dollars or 600? I would think they would have a general idea on how much it will cost. At the very least they can state the price to be on the higher end and surprise everyone with a lower cost if it happens that way, don't you think?
