How much does Google Glass weight ?

Does anyone know how much does Google Glass weight ?
That hardware seems quite heavy for a pair of glasses. Isn't it uncomfortable to keep that on your head ?

It weights 50 grams, which isn't that much.

That is without any prescription lenses or sunglasses. But if we think that Google managed to pack a mini computer in those glasses they don't weigh much at all. I searched online for the average sunglasses weight and I got : "~25 grams to ~50 grams"

I didn't think about that, but it wouldn't be very nice to add another 25 grams to it. I guess we'll have to use plastic lenses, as they are lighter than glass ones.

It's true and I wear contact lenses. But why waste your time putting them on and off if you already wear Glass that can have lenses ?

Some people just can't wear contacts either =(, everytime I've tried I'll have them in and roughly an 15 minutes later they are dry and falling out. I too would upvote the hell out of perscription glass lenses.

You should give this article a look... It suggests that Google is currently working to offer folks who don't have 20/20 vision a way to add frames and lenses to Google Glass http://www.fastcompany.com/3016907/f...y-wear-glasses
