The First Google Glass Game
I've just read a post on your blog about the first game designed especially for Glass namely the Escape App and no one mentioned on the forum under the games section...I thought to start a thread and hope that is alright with you guys... https://googleglass.gs/google-gla...es-escape-app/ . It's pretty basic but never the less it's the first of its kind. Is there anyone amongst you guys who tried it? How is the gameplay?

I expect to see more games for Glass in the future, though I'm pretty sure they will be a different kind of games, considering that you don't have a keyboard or touchscreen and you're only left with the small trackpad, voice commands, sensors and camera. We'll probably see more augmented reality games.

I remember how the accelerometer and touchscreen changed the way we thought about mobile gaming....I can imagine that Google Glass has some surprises in its sleeve also... A simple wink to kill a duck maybe?

Yes, Google Glass has a great potential for running high performance games due to its excellent hardware configuration. Playing games on the new Google Glass will give a completely different experience for gaming as it would be the first device which would allow game play without direct use of physical buttons. I hope the Google Glass to come on the market soon.

I don't know if I would want to play games with Google Glasses it might be a strain on the eyes I will give it a try depending on how much the glasses actually cost otherwise I would rather stick to PC gaming.

I can see Google Glasses having a wide variety of games featured on them. If they create games that are actually entertaining it, they will be a great buy for anyone.

Indeed, it looks very basic, but its a whole new gaming platform. Like the article said, games on glass is a very new concept, and still in it's experimental stages. You have to remember though, this hardware isn't made primarily for gaming, so what do you expect?

I am looking forward to more games for the glasses. I am sure some developers or community members will come up with great ideas. It was like this in the beginning of cellphones, consoles and everything. Small simple games for a short period of entertainment, like when waiting for somebody or waiting to enter to the doctor or whatever. It's just something simple that will evolve and eventually there will be games like the newest ones on the market right now.
