    Will Google Glass be in shops?

    I'm really interested in Google Glass, but I don't know very much about its availability. Do you have any idea where can I find the device ?

    I'm sure it will be eventually. Every electronic ends up in stores at some point. I don't know why they wouldn't have it in stores, unless it became banned or something.

    Google seems pretty quiet with regards to letting us know when/if this will be released to the public. I guess at this point we are in the trial/beta period for Glass.

    There are some "bugs" that have to be fixed as we speak. Let us don't forget that the Glass Explorer program is not only a chance for developers to create with Glass but also report various bugs and manufacturing flaws of the current design. For example a common complaint is that currently Glass does not handle heat well - the prism starts to melt or peel. More on this topic here.

    Those being said, it is only logical for Google to release such a product to consumers after some extended alfa/beta testing...

    I'm just wondering if it would be able to be sold in mainstream stores like Walmart, Target, BestBuy, etc. or only exclusive ones...

    I think Google would be stupid to not pair up with retail outlets (say BestBuy for example) in order to get the word out there. As mentioned above they have been pretty quiet in regards to explaining how and where we will be able to find them - but once they are comfortable releasing that information, I'm sure they will want everyone to know

    How much will it be when it is out? will it drop in price as time goes on or will there be other versions coming out?

    I guess once the beta testing is done, and all the bugs and kinks are worked out, they'll be released to the general public in due time.

    I'm really interested in where these Google Glasses will be sold too and how well they are going to sell, as it goes up against other wearable technology like smartwatches. It should be fascinating what happens when it finally is released to the public.
