    Exclamation Bricked My Google Glass...

Never in my life had I imagined that I could succeed in bricking Glass. But i've done it! When I try to turn it on it does not want to boot, just shortly after I installed the latest XE9 release. I also tried to perform a fastboot but no luck at all, it hung yet again. Oh, not to mention that the device is not longer discoverable via adb-device. All I get when I try to turn it on is a silly blank screen and the power button blinking...

I will send Google an email regarding this problem but meanwhile any thoughts or ideas are welcome!

Did you manage to do anything about it ? I noticed that you're still working on your app, so I believe you fixed it.

I don't own google glasses, but in general it's not that hard to brick anything these day's all you have to do is go on YouTube, but congrats on your first successful brick.

Unless you dropped, It probably happened when you were installing XE9. Maybe the update process was interrupted, or perhaps you rebooted before the update completed. A lot of devices go brick when you interrupt an update, or it could be the configuration. Good luck with emailing Google, hope the problem can be resolved.

Bricking is pretty much when a devices ceases to work due to software issues and it's nearly impossible to fix.

This is an interesting question, the Glass has no option to re install or to go to original settings?

If it doesn't that would be a huge issue, hopefully there is something that can be done about this bricking.

Nub, if it is impossible to fix it is a big issue, but possibly this is why it's still beta.
